Kerb Appeal ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and store your information.

2. Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, company name, and billing details. We also collect usage data including pages visited and features used.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the Kerb Appeal service, process payments, send transactional emails (booking confirmations, status updates, invoices), and improve the platform.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored on servers we run with Hetzner in Germany (EU). Connections between your browser and Kerb Appeal use HTTPS, so they are encrypted in transit (TLS). Traffic between our own services on those servers does not leave our hosting environment.

5. Third-party services

We use these service providers to run Kerb Appeal. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job:

  • Hetzner (server hosting, where your data is stored)
  • Cloudflare (network security and content delivery; all traffic to our sites passes through it)
  • Google (Calendar, Maps and Places integrations, and spreadsheet backups)
  • Dropbox (file storage and delivery integration)
  • Twilio (text message notifications)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • CubiCasa (floor plan production)
  • Fontshare (web fonts on this website; it receives your IP address when a page loads)

Our database and sign-in system run on Supabase open-source software that we host ourselves, so Supabase the company does not receive your data. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can ask us for a copy of your data, and we will provide it on request. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign in to the Kerb Appeal app, it keeps your session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. This is essential for the service to work.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account closure, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe.

9. GDPR

Kerb Appeal processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Where we process data on behalf of our customers, we act as a data processor. Customers who need a Data Processing Agreement can contact us at [email protected].
